I've been sewing up a storm in my little sewing room, and bags are flying out of here like crazy! I take their pictures to share with you here on the blog, but then I get busy making the next one and can't find time to post about them. Lots of pictures soon, I promise! The fabrics are so lovely that I can't bear to part with them, but they pieces are small enough that I wasn't sure what to create. Teeny, tiny, and oh-so-cute!!! I don't know about you, but I can't stand digging around in my purse or tote bag for earphones that have a nasty habit of living at the very bottom amongst stray bits of stuff. I haul them out and they are inevitably dirty and all balled up. It takes more time than I care to admit to undo the earphones and restore them to their tidy state. So, when I saw this pattern from School House Patterns, I knew it was just the thing for using up the little bits of fabric that I have been hoarding. Measuring 3 1/4 inches by 2 1/2 inches, they are are a great size for tucking away in your purse pocket for easy retrieval. They are also handy around here where there are daily arguments over the ownership of earphones. Each kid has their own earphone pouch - genius! To add to the functional nature of these handy dandy little pouches, they are the best size for storing jewellery when travelling. A necklace and a pair of earrings will fit perfectly, and you can store them in style!
